FLAME WAR
What happens when flamethrowers ambush a tank column? Note the brush fires and blazing buildings all around. This scenario was almost wall to wall flames ;)
In response to the joint flamethrower and panzerschreck ambush the two surviving, mobile Churchills, slowly reverse away from danger and position themselves one to each side of the road, all the while being careful to keep their thick frontal armour faced towards the ambushers. I was particularly impressed with the AI here as it dismounted the platoon of infantry and immediately ordered them to clear the houses directly to either side of and to the front of the ambush, which it did at virtually no cost, wiping out both the flamethrower and panzerschreck teams. Chalk up one for the AI.

This Cromwell has managed to survive one ambush but as it moves to support the Churchills, it tiptoes too closely to yet another hidden 'schreck team.
