Author's Note: Belton Y. Cooper, "Death Traps", describes the battle depicted here in detail in the book. It is the confrontation of an American Armored column by tank forces of the Ersatzbrigade Westfalen near Paderborn Germany near the end of World War II in Europe.

I recommend that to avoid spoiling the scenario you read the historical background on another occasion. It is worth reading after fighting the battle to see how your confrontation compares with the historical event...
