Welcome Aboard!!! CMHQ-Annex Sneak Preview
Hello everyone! I got impatient and have decided to let everbody have a look around for a little sneak preview. While there are a few sections left to implement (Humor and Quiz sections plus the all new CM Ladder System), the majority are ready. So have a look around, check out all the cool side bar artwork and enjoy yourselves. One important note though: Currently this server is NOT 24/7 but it is very close to that. So if it is down just be patient as I am probably just doing something to it.
Be sure to pop into the new CMHQ-Chat system as well and say hey to your friends and neighbors... There are plenty of advanced feature on this page as well so be sure to try out the News Search Feature, the Archives (this site has been up for awhile and there are some pictures in the archives that I bet you never saw!) and the E-Mail notification system.
I have decided to kick things off with a bang and feature some of the new finished uniform graphics. Head over to the Uniform Gallery and check out 1944 versions of US Infantry and Paratroops. More will be on the way as I plan on doing every uniform thats in the game!
New Chat System Online!
Ok, my loyal Beta testers (Well what did you think you were doing here before everyone else???). I have a new Chat system online and it appears to be pretty cool. This one has unlimited (I hope) connections and is VERY customizable. It uses the Conference Room front end and you can even use an IRC client to attach if the java part messes up ( I still have to check this all out though). One thing about Java, I just realized that Netscape 6 DOES NOT by default install java so if you have had problems with the chats in the past then that was why. You have to select the Customized COMPLETE install option when you install Netscape 6 and then you get the Java. Pretty shabby if you ask me! Anyway, please test this new Chat system out for me and let me know what you think. The chat system is no longer locally hosted on my server and that means that I can put up this same chat on CMHQ as well which is cool. Thanks again!

Getting closer all the time
Well everyone, I am almost through with getting this site ready. I will be adding a few more features and finalizing the last of the 'side line' graphics very soon. Almost all of the links have some sort of special graphic so be sure and check them out. Many are from actual propaganda posters and I have ton more to plug in. I hope you like the new direction that I am taking here. CMHQ will be getting a much needed facelift as well in the coming weeks. Thanks for your support and I pormise to look into the Chat systems soon as well...

Still working on the new look
Just a quickie update. I am still tweaking around with graphics and what not in preparation for the grand unveiling, hopefully later this week. Thanks for your patience during this transition period!

Very Soon Now!
As I said in the Forum and on CMHQ, I will be opening the doors here very soon to everyone in the CM Community to come in and get the floor all muddy. You may have noticed that the look is changing around here and its going to change a lot more before its all said and done. I am still testing about 4 different Chat Systems and thats one thing that WON'T be finalized by the time we go live here. Just not enough time. The CM Ladder will be setup again soon (you here that Hunt!?! Drop me an email!) as well as CMMC and several other new sections. One is already open and it the Pics from the Front area. Only one picture in there now but more will be along shortly. Just to re-iterate. This is NOT a replacement for CMHQ, just an addition. If you want to help out then drop me an email and we can chat about what I need and how to do it. Thanks for everyone who has helped me test this bad-boy for the last month. I appreciate it!

New Update on State of this Server! And Bonus POTD For Your Eyes Only!
Well guys, I took the plunge and went ahead and registered the url cmhq.tzo.com as a domain for the next year! So what does that mean? Well it means that this puppy should be staying up much more than 9 to 11 for one and also means that it is going to get more integrated into the main TGN CMHQ site. In fact this site will be undergoing a name change soon and will re-open its doors as: The CMHQ Annex!!!
Stuff that doesn't fit in with the main focus of CMHQ will go here. Also since I have complete control and freedom of this server you will see many more technolgoies rolled out here. We already have the Chat System (soon to be upgraded too) and testing goes on with the Ladder Ranking System. I also plan on switching the Meta Campaign and all its stuff to here as well. I can setup dedicated mail lists and even accounts right from here as well! All in all this server will not replace but augment the work I do at CMHQ.
CMHQ Annex will also have exclusives and articles that only appear here, be sure to subscribe to the email notification system and stand by and watch the festivities! It's going to be a great ride!!!

Also just a word of warning to Netscape 6 users. This version of Netscape apparently has a problam with the Infochat chat program. I am looking into this... Netscape versions prior to the recent release should be ok though... More to come...

WOOHOO! Chat Area fixed for Netscape Users
Well, it took me half the night but I finally found the bit of java code that Netscape didn't like and got it all resolved! Thanks to Lorak and others who helped me test this. Both IE and Netscape should both display the Chat Window normally now... More improvements to come!

Just making sure everything is still AOK on the server...
Greetings my local sycophants! Just checking in from work to check on my server and put up some useless news with no real substance. Fionn: If you are reading this then email me before I have to fly over to Ireland and kick your face in. You don't send me an email like that last one and then dissapear for days! ;-) Hunt, seems security on the server is getting better and we may be able to go-live on the Ladder sooner than expected.
