Big Time Software continues to
polish and tweak Combat Mission before its final release to the
public. The changes shown below enhance the overall look of the
game and add welcome sparkle to this already brilliant gem.
We will take a look at several of
these new enhancements which include:

Colored 3D Targeting and
Move Lines

New graphic for Rubble

Group selection for orders
and movement

Targeting lines visible for
ALL units

Here I have selected the building as an area target and all the
units in the group have now automatically targeted it as well.
This can save time and is very useful in large battles.

Here we see a small group which is being directed to run into a nearby
scattered tree area. Group select can be used to give additional orders
beyond targeting and movement as we will see below.

With all the units still selected and movement course plotted I have
used the hide command (H Key) and now every unit in the selected group
will hide once they complete their movement!

Another welcome addition is the ability to not only see all movement
path lines but all targeting lines as well during the orders phase.
This is a huge time saver and you can now quickly scan the battlefield
for units which aren't engaged, or ones being engaged as you will
also see all incoming fire lines!

lines, just targeting lines or no lines at all plus you can chose
if you see these lines for all your units or just the currently
selected unit! Choices galore!
