Comments: A replacement Tiger texture with a much darker pale green color. John's first public attempt at a Hi-Res Texture. New version 2 with less pixelation and greater detail!

Comments: Tiger IE MOD "3.Kompanie,  schwere SS Panzerabteilung 101, Turmnummer 314, Unterscharfuehrer Otto Blase, Normandy 1944.  To give you a representation of a Tiger IE tank which actually saw service with 3rd Company, schwere SS - Panzerabteilung 101 in Normandy,  I created this MOD. It features the Insignia of 1st SS Panzercorps, which was applied on the left hull front and rear and had the characteristic square cut-outs. The turret number was painted in blue with a yellow outline and was a color combination which no other TIGER unit used. The numbers were applied on both turret sides and also on the rear turret stowage box. Because Combat Mission uses mirrored textures for both sides of the turret I decided not to feature the turret numbers except the number on the turret stowage box. This particular Tiger IE "314" has been knocked out at 8th August 1944 near Gaumesnil, while participating in a hasty conducted counterpunch against "Operation Totalize". Another famous victim of that day was Tiger IE "007" with Michael Wittmann.
