Orders - Turn 15

I instruct George Platoon to run for it and hope for the best.  Dog Platoon is making a fighting retreat to the houses in the village.  I’m also bringing up my heavy weapons platoon into the village.  The tanks are going over to shore up my left flank.  I don’t see anything stopping Charlie Platoon from taking the main objective building.  Baker Platoon is sitting still; they’re getting awfully low on ammo. Fox Platoon is edging up.

I’m now confident I can take and hold all of the objectives.  I just hope the “Butcher’s Bill” isn’t so high that it wasn’t worth it.

  Action – Turn 15

Bad News: George Platoon is no more and a wood building collapsed on a Dog squad.  Good News: Charlie took the objective building, the tanks moved smartly over to the left, Baker Platoon is ganging up a German squad, and the heavy weapons are moving into town.

The tanks move together like they were on the parade ground, not the battlefield.  Behind the church, notice another tree burst going off.  I’m very pleased with that mortar team.

This German squad has walked right into a Baker Platoon mini-fire sac.  Here a grenade is going off.  The only problem that Baker has is that every squad is now “Low” on ammo.

Believe it or not, this squad had an ammo status of 31 at the start of this turn.  Over one-half of their ammo consumed, they are finally about to eliminate this machine-gun team.
