Orders Phase:

Following the impotisation of the Tiger I have ordered it to reverse into the cover provided by the woods to prevent its later immolation.

 

After the annihilation of the remaining enemy infantry on this side of the river I have ordered my infantry to run for the cover of the nearest building. It would appear, however, that Rick wants to play with this squad and he pumps a couple of HE shells into it which cause a casualty but don’t alter the underlying trend here.

 

 Action Phase:

As the Tiger retreats it is hit again by a 76mm shell and receives a “gun hit, no serious damage” message… It looks like the rest of that crew’s lucky rabbit’s feet are working better than their TC’s did.

 

The phase ends with Rick attempting to rush across the ford with 2 squads and his platoon HQ. I’m a little disappointed that he didn’t rush across with all three squads since I really did want to wipe this platoon out to the last man but I suppose this will have to do.

 

He is receiving a little perfunctory fire which is just to let him know I’m here. Next turn I will unhide my infantry in the lower floors of the houses nearby and really let him have it.
