German Commander - Fionn Kelly

Turn 2:

Orders Phase:

No real news to report. My forces merely continue the movement to initial contact positions initiated last turn.

About the only thing of any note is that I ordered a little 81mm mortar barrage on my left flank. It won't do much damage but I just wanted to let Murray know I could see him... never underestimate the importance of saying "I see you" with artillery.

Action Phase:

As you can see from this picture my two Elite FJ squads in the centre of my line are right in the path of quite a gaggle of enemy units. It looks like they are actually set up at the junction of two enemy platoons. One is advancing to their left, the other to their right. To their front are some support weapons. This is good news as I really wouldn't mind wiping out an MG or mortar platoon.

The picture above shows my skirmish line layout on my left flank. It's nice and spread out whilst still being easy to retreat from and difficult to outflank unless Murray is literally walking forward with his entire line in line abreast formation.

Apart from setting up my skirmish line and a little "Nice to meet you" artillery it is too early for any decisive action or further conclusions.
