Allied Commander -
"Claymore"
TURNS 1-2
For the first two turns my forces advance towards their first objectives as outlined in the setup.
LEFT FLANK
ALPHA company is advancing a little slower than expected and will arrive at the Bocage sometime around Turn 6. The decoy platoon is whooping its way towards the bridges and fords...I am a little surprised that this group has drawn not even mortar fire. Perhaps when they break out of the trees Fionn will get his first real look at them.
CENTER
In the center, BRAVO company is making good time towards the small copse of trees directly in front of them, 1st Platoon is in the lead with a MG platoon on their left flank providing support while 2nd and 3rd platoons are to the rear. CHARLIE company is doing extremely well and is advancing in good order towards their first important target OBJ INDIAN. Once my spotters and organic mortars get on this high ground they will have the LOS required for proper operation.

RIGHT FLANK
Delta company has surprising drawn the only fire so far in the battle where Fionn appears to just be starting a 81mm mortar barrage. 1st platoon, which has been tasked with sneaking into a forward copse of trees, has been the recipient but casualties so far have been minimal. Something to look at however is the generic GUN marker that is placed on a distant hill right at the end of the movie. I am not going to fire on it just yet as it since I need to get some 60mm mortars into LOS. Besides, it doesn't look as though it has any LOS to my armour units and if it has been targeting my infantry from the shell burst doesn't look any larger than a 75mm gun. I'll wait unit the target marker either firms up or doesn't relocate for a couple of turns before giving it my attentions.
