Welcome to the Newsroom
Here you'll find that the Second World War rages in print as well as on the front lines. Two newspapers, The Forward Observer and Der Adler, are competing to give you gritty reports from the scenes of battle, profiles of the rival commanders, behind-the-scenes analysis and more! So pick up an issue, have a seat, and read the best journalism on either side of the Rhine!

The Forward Observer is the Allied newspaper. It is published in Adobe Acrobat format, so if you do not have Acrobat you ought to download the latest version. It's worth it - the paper looks good, and Gen. Eisenhower himself reads it! Click on the links below to view an issue, or write a letter to the editor, Nelson Hernandez.

Der Adler is obligatory reading for any information-starved Landser. Full of stirring tales of heroic deeds committed by the soldiers of the Fatherland, you're likely to put the issue down thinking the Germans are about to win the war! Der Adler is done in HTML, so click on a link below to check it out, or send a letter to the editor, Tor Ivar Strand.
