New Announcements

CMMC'ers that will play on either side,

Attached you will find a Preparation Plan for starting CMMC that details the various categories of on-going planning, as well as projected dates for milestones. (Please note, these timings are subject to change as circumstances dictate. Changes will be announced on the CMMC website: http://www.combatmission.com/CMMC/cmmcfront.htm)

Because this is such a big effort in terms of (1) number of folks involved, (2) time requirements, (3) size of forces, map and scope of operation, it is important to try to stay on schedule as much as possible. The important steps for most of you involve Chain of Command (CoC) building. This will include initially (1) getting on-line forums built and players on them (2) deciding on Command and Staff position appointments (at DIV, RGT, and BN level), (3) practice order writing and other training drills. This will all take place over the next few weeks.

If you receive this email, consider yourself on the first round roster. Over the coming weeks, you guys will be either asked to join one of the sides, or be tasked by GMs to one of them, which ever comes first.

Orders Templates
GMs want players' orders to be crisp and clear, not long-winded existentialist novels on life at the front (send those to the Press Corps). To that end they've made these templates showing precisely what they want to see. Use them, and minimize the risk of your orders being misinterpreted.
